It’s Hot, Hot, Hot at the Secret Science Club on Wednesday, August 1 One of the nation’s most prominent scientists on the subject of climate change and the new president of the Institute of Ecosystem Studies, biogeochemist William Schlesinger lectures on the “role and response of forests in a future warmer world.” The author or co-author of over 180 scientific papers, Dr. Schlesinger has been investigating the link between environmental chemistry and global climate change for over 30 years.
